Il y a des rapports d'essaims de frelons Asian augmentant a travers France. Ils sont arrives dans une cargaison de poterie de China dans 2004. Ils sont plus petits que le frelon European mais plus agressif. They are more poisonous than the European hornet and multiple stings can be dangerous to humans. They also pose a large threat to other bees and are blamed for wiping out many hives in France.
